NO COMPLAINTS! PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EXCEED MY EXPECTATIONS!

Posted by Unknown on Aug 1st 2016

This Shadow Tech Savage knife is everything I expected and more.

I will start off praising the customer service. They are caring and understanding, and they pay close attention in detail to your requests.

As for the knife? Most USA custom knives made in 8670 steel, L6 steel, or your more high impact nickel steels are quite expensive, and take many months, if not years to order, start, produce, and complete....this knife is all that, for an actually reasonable price and a reasonable wait time.

The Shadow Tech Savage is made of high impact 8670 steel, quarter inch thick, with a slight hollow grind, making it ideal for heavy/large game skinning, butchering, and chopping tasks. It's aggressive forward weight and wide blade also make it ideally designed for high impact chopping and battoning.

This knife is well designed for moderate to very strenuous, heavy duty camp use. It is not a light weight, delicate cutter, so I won't criticize that as a weak point, simply because it was not designed with delicate work in mind....that would be like saying a comedy movie is terrible because you were really wanting to see serious drama.

This knife is very well finished for a utilitarian knife.
The sheath fits quite snug and is not a pain to take out and re insert.

I have not had a chance to really put it through its paces yet, so I can only comment on its projected uses, since no true tests have taken place.

If you want a custom user knife made with superior quality steel, materials, impressive build, fit and finish for a decent price, I'd have to recommend giving Shadow Tech knives a try.
